A film about a determined community which against all odds revolutionized football culture in Poland. AKS ZŁY [AKS BAD]. Circus performers. Dreamers. Hooligans of Love.
In 2015, a football club with the provocative name ZŁY [AKS BAD] was established in the Szmulki neighbourhood in Warsaw's Praga district. They are often called Hooligans of Love. Their stadium is full of openness and diversity. The women's team runs out onto the pitch in caps and attracts more fans than most men's teams in the country. The club is non-profit, there is no president, the community manages it. This is a revolution in football culture. They are fighting against chauvinism, macho culture, and commercialism. The club has shown that stadiums can be a safe place for everyone. Is this suicide? A utopia? Are they just dreamers? A determined community and a unique project that UEFA has recognized as the best club in Europe. Based on the stories of six club members of both sexes, we document the historical process from the inside.
